Why do I need to verify my source of funds, and how do I do it?

Modified on Mon, 01 Aug 2022 at 01:21 PM

You need to verify your source of funds (SOF) to comply with various financial regulations. These measures are in place to prevent fraud and money-laundering, and complying allows CrypoWallet to offer our services around the world.

Here’s how to verify your source of funds and use your CW card and the exchange services: simply follow the in-app instructions and supply the necessary documents to our team. Depending on your region, these may include bank statements and other financial documents, and you may need to complete a short questionnaire for CryptoWallet. You can upload the documents directly in-app by taking a photo on your phone or uploading a scan or image file. You’ll receive an email and app notification when you need to verify your funds.

Once you’ve demonstrated where your funds come from, you’ll be all set to spend and trade crypto with CryptoWallet.
