How to find a cryptocurrency transaction ID (TXID)

Modified on Mon, 01 Aug 2022 at 01:21 PM

When you make a cryptocurrency transfer between CryptoWallet and another address, the details are stored in-app, including the time and date of transfer, the address of the other party, and the amount of the cryptocurrency payment sent or received.

That information is given a transaction ID (TXID). Some parties may ask you to provide them with a TXID as proof or confirmation of a successful payment,. You can find that information on any blockchain explorer, such as blockchain.info, by entering the search area and entering information specific to your transaction, such as one of the addresses involved. No personal information from your CryptoWallet account is shared on public blockchains.
